Where can I have a crash course in Thai massage?(give a different answer) .
I don't know if it's exactly a crash course and how long you'll be in Bangkok, but the best place to take a Thai massage class is the school at Wat Pho temple, one of the most famous schools of its kind in all Thailand. The basic course here is 5 days, 6 hours a day, it costs 8500 Baht, and at the end you get a certificate saying you have the basic knowledge of traditional Thai massage. Upon completion you'll know how to twist, press and knead the human body until it turns to jello. Go there only if you're really interested in acquiring this knowledge, because in the first day it will seem that Thai massage gives you sore wrists only, it's not a gentle kind of massage. Most of the students at the school are tourists coming from all over the world and the teachers speak English so you won't feel out of place. If after the general Thai massage course you're keen to learn more you can take an Advanced therapeutic and healing massage course for 12,000 Baht or a foot massage course for 3,600 Baht.
