The Wat Suthat temple in Bangkok

Posted 1 year ago by avatar forestgump in response to pint's question: Brahmanism in Thailand? (give a different answer) .

Well, Brahmanism was here before Buddhism actually, and there still is a temple that reminds of that era. It's called the Wat Suthat and is in Bangkok. The Brahman priests here perform the Royal Ploughing Ceremony every year in May. Worth visiting. It's on Th Bamrung Meuang, and you can take bus 508 to get there. 20 B to get in.
