Yes, they have a special division that investigates any problems related to the tourists. It's called the Tourist Police and they all speak English. Their main activity is actually investigating the gem scamds that are so frequent there. They also collaborate with the regular police force, so if yopu have prtoblems with the local police you can always ask about this unit. You can always reach them by dialing 11 55
