Well, there are 2 things you should avoid when in Bangkok. The first would be the friendly local that wants to help you find a nice place to go to. Cause the spot you're trying to get is "closed for holiday" don't believe that and don't engage in converstion with this sort of people. The second problem is the jewelry. Don't buy any on the streets, cause they're all fake. Fake gems are the biggest "crime" in Bangkok, so beware
