Drunken Flower is one of my favourite spots in Chiang Mai, equally Thai and Western at the same time: Thai because of the spicy food, Thai owners and Thai crowd made of important people on Chiang Mai scene, Western enough because of the Mexican food the chef is trying his hand at and the expats and tourists congregating here. The place is a combination of restaurant and bar, open until late in the night. The cocktail list is impressive. If you arrive here on one of the evenings when somebody's birthday is celebrated it gets even better, you're guaranteed to have a nice time as everyone is invited to the party.
