ilove in response to general's question: I'll be in Koh Samui in November and looking to hit the waves. Anybody here knows if waves are good for surfing in Koh Samui at that time?(give a different answer) .
Surf season in Koh Samui runs from October to January and the best surfing spot is off Chaweng Beach. So I guess if you'll be in Koh Samui in November you're in for some good surfing. The boards are pretty expensive to rent from the beach, like 550 Baht/hour, and I can only remember one name from all the watersport activities operators, Samui Ocean Sports at Chaweng Regent Beach Resort.
