Yes, you heard right, there's a gay beach in Pattaya, actually it's the only gay beach in Thailand. The gay beach area is a long sand strip included in Jomtien beach, beginning where Thappraya Road leaves the beachfront and goes up to Pattaya Park hotel. If you're lost look for Tui’s Place sign, this cafe is exactly in the center of the gay section. To arrive here from Pattaya take the baht bus from the corner of South Pattaya road with Phratumnak road and pay the driver 10Baht.
There are a lot of guest houses and hotels catering for gays around Jomtien beach if you feel like staying for the night. Also lots of gay bars and restaurants around the beach.
