Well, this is a tourist island and its capital Phuket Town is just that: a touris city. So you can imagine there's plenty of options when it comes to night time entertainment. What I used to do at night there, was to go and have a few cocktails and listen to live music at this great club on Th Yaowarat called Rockin Angels. Best place in town :)
