general in response to musketeer's question: I heard about a very old shrine somewhere on Phuket island . Does anyone know more about that?(give a different answer) .
It must be the Shrine of the Serene Light from Phuket Town. It's an ancient shrine (a few hundred years old) that is somewhere in the day market. It's quite a tourist attraction cause there's always a group of them going in or out and taking pictures. I was there myself and I can't say I was impressed. Admission is free
