Oh, there are a few periodicals that are in English. I go to Phuket almost every summer and I should know. The fortnightly Phuket Gazette has lots of info on tourist attractions, events, lodging, restaurant and more. The same thing does the Gazette Guide. The Phuket Holiday Guide is another very good tourist ressource, really useful.
